Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CartForGood you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms you may not use our platform or services.

Platform Overview

CartForGood is a free referral platform that connects everyday shopping to charitable giving. When you tap a store button in our app or on our website you are redirected to that retailer's own website to shop directly with them. CartForGood does not sell products, process any purchases, or handle any payment information. Retailers pay CartForGood a small commission when you make a purchase through our links at no additional cost to you. A portion of that commission is donated to charity every month.

No Accounts Required

CartForGood does not require you to create an account, register, or provide any personal information to use the app or website. There are no usernames, passwords, or user profiles.

How Purchases Work

CartForGood does not process, fulfill, or have any involvement in your purchases. When you tap a store button you leave CartForGood and shop entirely on the retailer's own website under that retailer's own terms, pricing, availability, shipping, returns, and policies. CartForGood has no access to your order details, payment information, or any information you provide to the retailer. Any issue with a product, order, price, or purchase must be resolved directly with the retailer not with CartForGood.

Online Purchases Only

CartForGood earns commission on online purchases completed through our store links. This includes ordering online for in store pickup as long as payment is completed online at checkout. CartForGood does not earn commission on purchases paid for in person at a store register.

Affiliate Relationships

CartForGood participates in affiliate programs with retailers. We earn commissions when purchases are made through our store links. This is disclosed in accordance with FTC guidelines. CartForGood is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Charitable Donations

CartForGood donates a portion of the commissions it earns from retailers to charity every month. Donation amounts are based on commissions actually received and confirmed by CartForGood. They are not guaranteed in advance and may vary month to month. Retailers pay commissions on varying schedules typically between 30 and 60 days after purchase and after return windows have closed. There is a startup period before CartForGood's first donation goes out. After that a donation goes out every month on the first without exception. All donations are posted publicly on our website with receipts the same day they go out.

Fixed Charity Months

Three months are permanently reserved. July goes entirely to Tunnels to Towers Foundation supporting the families of fallen first responders and veterans. November goes entirely to Feeding America fighting hunger in communities across the country. December goes entirely to Toys for Tots bringing joy to children in need during the holiday season. All other months the recipient charity is selected through a live public drawing streamed on our social media channels on the first of each month. CartForGood reserves the right to modify the charity calendar with reasonable notice.

Charity Nominations

Users may nominate local charities for consideration through the nomination form on our website. Nominated charities must be verified 501c3 organizations and may not be political or religious organizations. CartForGood determines eligibility and final selection at its sole discretion. Each charity may only be nominated once. CartForGood reserves the right to remove any charity from consideration at any time. We are not able to respond to every nomination individually.

Charity Wheel Rules

Each local charity may win the Little Wheel a maximum of two times per calendar year. After two wins in a calendar year a charity is removed from the wheel until January 1st of the following year. The maximum donation per charity per Little Wheel win is $2,500. CartForGood determines the number of charity winners each month based on the total commissions received. CartForGood reserves the right to adjust these rules as the platform grows.

User Responsibilities

By using CartForGood you agree to:

• Use the platform only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to disrupt, interfere with, or misuse the app, website, or charity nomination form.
• Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent charity nominations.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and branding on CartForGood are owned by CartForGood. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our branding or platform without our prior written consent.

Third Party Retailers and Platforms

CartForGood contains links to third party retailer websites and is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We are not responsible for the content, policies, security, or practices of those retailers or platforms. Your use of any third party website or app store is governed by that party's own terms and policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

CartForGood is provided as is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app or website will be uninterrupted or error free or that any particular charity or donation amount will be selected or achieved in any given month.

Limitation of Liability

CartForGood shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform including but not limited to any issue arising from a purchase made on a retailer's website. Because CartForGood is free to use and does not process any payments from you our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $0.

Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or block access to the app or website at any time for any reason including misuse of the platform or fraudulent charity nominations.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
