Information We Collect
CartForGood does not collect any personal information. We do not require you to create an account. We do not require you to sign up. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, payment information, or any other personal data. CartForGood does not track you. You are never the product.
How The App Works
When you tap a store button in the CartForGood app or website you are redirected to the retailer's own website in your external browser. Any information you provide during your purchase on the retailer's website is governed by that retailer's own privacy policy. CartForGood has no access to your purchase information, your payment details, or your personal data.
Anonymous Analytics
CartForGood tracks the number of times each store button is tapped. This is anonymous count data only. No personal information is associated with these counts. We use this information to understand which stores are most popular and improve the CartForGood experience.
Communications
CartForGood does not collect email addresses. Charity nominations are submitted through a form on our website. No personal contact information is required to submit a nomination. CartForGood does not send marketing emails or newsletters of any kind. If personal information is accidentally submitted through our charity nomination form it will not be stored, shared, or used for any purpose. It will be deleted immediately upon discovery.
Affiliate Disclosure
CartForGood participates in affiliate programs with retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and others. When you tap a store button and make a purchase on the retailer's website CartForGood may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This commission funds CartForGood operations and charitable donations. CartForGood is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
Cookies
CartForGood does not set any cookies for affiliate tracking purposes. When you tap a store button and are redirected to a retailer's website that retailer may set cookies on their own domain to track the referral and commission. CartForGood has no access to or control over cookies set by retailer websites. CartForGood's website may use basic cookies necessary for the website to function properly. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use cookies to collect personal information.
Third Party Platforms
When you download CartForGood from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store those platforms may collect data according to their own privacy policies. CartForGood has no control over and no access to data collected by Apple or Google. Please review their privacy policies for more information.
Data Security
We use standard HTTPS encryption for all network requests. CartForGood does not store personal data so there is no personal data at risk.
Children's Privacy
CartForGood is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you are under 13 please do not use CartForGood.
